The weekend is finally almost here, and while for many that means more time to spend out enjoying Toronto, it also means having to deal with a variety of scheduled road closures and changing public transit schedules.

From ongoing construction to outdoor events, several Toronto roadways will experience closures this weekend, including major throughways like King Street West, College Street, and Lake Shore Boulevard. And for those hoping to hop on a GO Train to get out of the city, they’ll want to be aware of the rather extensive disruptions that will be hitting the Lake Shore West line this weekend.

The City of Toronto is asking anyone who has to drive in the vicinity of the closures to consider alternate routes and allow extra time for getting to and from their destinations.
