Alan is responsible for developing JLL Canada’s business strategy, driving revenue, delivering best-in-class service to clients, and partnering with the company’s business in the Americas and globally.
Based in Toronto, he leads the business and its adoption of new technologies across Canada.
Before joining JLL in September 2019, Alan was President at Triovest Realty Advisors, a real estate advisory and investment firm with over $10 billion in assets under management.
Alan’s career spans over 30 years assuming the roles of broker, investor, asset owner and company founder. His experience in commercial real estate includes: capital markets, development, value enhancement, leasing, asset management and joint ventures.
An Honours graduate of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Waterloo, Alan began his commercial real estate and entrepreneurial life part time throughout university as a market researcher with a side business of producing hand drawn architectural renderings.
In his spare time, Alan enjoys golfing, fishing, playing hockey and spending time with his wife Margaret and two kids: Cabot and Erika.
