At just over 200 m and 62 storeys, the Living Shangri-La on 1128 West Georgia Street is also the tallest building in British Columbia, and the 44th tallest building in all of Canada, and one of the freehold strata penthouses at the top of the building is currently on the market.

Listed at just a shade under $35M, Penthouse 2 comes in at 4,363 sq. ft, across three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and an outdoor terrace that’s probably worth at least a third of the asking price. According to official floorplans, the penthouse is actually two storeys. Most of the living space is on the main floor, while one bedroom, the pool, and the outdoor terrace / patio are on the upper floor, rather than a lower floor.

The Living Shangri-La itself is a mixed-used building, consisting of a Shangri-La hotel and offices in the first 15 floors, with the rest of the building consisting of over 300 condos. The Living Shangri-La was completed in 2008, and was Shangri-La’s first property in North America. Residents of the building also have access to a 24-hour concierge service.
